New books added to BASO

May 24, 2018

Four new books have been published on British Academy Scholarship Online (BASO), adding to the History, Music, and Philosophy modules.

These books cover fascinating topics, from the story of Durga, the buffalo-demon-slaying deity dear to ancient Indic rulers, to musical conservatism during Germany's Weimar Republic, and from reflections on the iconic British radio programme Desert Island Discs to the influence of American pragmatism on British philosophy in the twentienth century.
