The memoir of the Liverpool baker, John Coleman, was written around 1797. It appears in two notebooks, the first of which begins with 52 pages of notes and financial accounts detailing a series of business dealings with Samuel Warren whom Coleman believed had mismanaged a business partnership between the two men....
